EducateTheCitizen is our national orientation initiative in development. Its ambition is to help people become better informed, think critically, understand their responsibilities and take constructive action in their communities.

We are shaping an accessible learning and participation service for everyday life, bringing together civic understanding, practical knowledge and the confidence to question, learn and contribute. The intended audience includes young people, families and communities across Nigeria.

The scope we are developing

Civic understanding and responsibility; critical thinking and media literacy; financial literacy and entrepreneurship; digital, AI and science literacy; ethics and leadership; Nigerian history and culture; environmental responsibility.

Alongside citizen orientation, we are exploring a platform that encourages Nigerians to identify real problems and develop practical inventions and solutions. The aim is to help ideas move towards useful, testable outcomes.

The concept brings together problem-led challenges, collaboration and opportunities to connect innovators with knowledge, mentorship and development support. Its name, programme structure and participation model are still being developed.

Our long-term direction is to own reusable platforms, technologies and intellectual property that other businesses and institutions can build on. Communication, subscriptions, content distribution and customer engagement are areas where our existing experience can inform that journey.

We intend to turn what we learn from building and operating products into capabilities that can support many organisations. Future platform offerings will be introduced as they become available.
